Twitter is already the barometer for what’s happening in the world right now. It’s also the go to platform for organisers and fans to experience the pulse of live events.
At the time, third party apps plagued the landscape. While features were sometimes well-considered, a lack of native integrations left a user's experience with a lot to be desired.
The goal was to solve two core problems. The first was designing a Twitter that recognised and adaptive to event trends. The second was how to design an experience entertaining and useful for both contributors and consumers.
